I think in addition to our love for Christmas baking, insanity played a large part in our decision to make 15 different types of cookies and goodies. Although we were completely wiped out by the time the day was done (12-plus hours in the kitchen for two days' straight will do that to you), the end result was pretty amazing.
Thankfully, we were able to snap a few photos of all of our efforts before they were all consumed (just kidding...after assembly we still have more cookies than we even know what to do with!).

We assembled 15 treat boxes for our neighbors, teachers, and friends and still had more than enough left over for a box to send to Zach's preschool Christmas program, multiple boxes for my brother in college, and more than enough leftovers for our own family Christmas celebration next week.
What a great way to kick off a new family tradition! Maybe next year, though, we'll scale back just a tad....
