Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs

This past Friday Allie made her theatrical debut as Daybreak, the smallest and quietest of the seven dwarfs from her school's production of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."

Allie reviewed her script every morning and evening to make sure she knew exactly what she was supposed to do when.  Daybreak was the one dwarf that didn't like to talk (definitely a stretch for Allie),  but saved Snow White many times throughout the play and even pushed the Evil Queen through the magic mirror to save everyone at the conclusion of the performance.
Her school partnered with a local children's theater company to put on the production in one weeks' time.  On Monday auditions and casting took place.  Rehearsals were held after school every day last week (until 8:00 pm) with their final performance on Friday evening.  Seventy third through fifth graders, in conjunction with teachers and the two theatrical coaches from the children's theater company, pulled off an amazing performance!

We were proud of Allie's hard work throughout the week!  You could tell all the kids had a blast, making new friends and working together toward a common goal.  And they were all excited about Dilly Bars in celebration of a job well done!
